Celebrity, Architecture and Uptown Shopping Tour

This is a driving tour of “Little Hollywood” and the glamorous Movie Colony, as well as Palm Springs’ distinctive landmarks, mid-century designed properties and celebrity visitor haunts. This comprehensive tour covers more than thirty miles, and looks at all types of residential, commercial, civic, hotels, and religious buildings created by the innovative, award-winning local architects. It’s not unusual to catch a glimpse of larger than life personalities strolling Palm Canyon Drive on hiatus from daylong movie shoots, since the 1920’s, Palm Springs has been the playground for Hollywood’s elite. This tour will conclude with time to shop in the world famous Uptown Design District.

“Taste of the Desert” Walking Epicurean Tour

This unique and “satisfying” epicurean walking tour on El Paseo will give guests a one-of-a-kind glimpse at the oftentimes missed hidden treasures of Palm Desert. Experienced, local “foodie” guides will introduce guests to the culture and history of the Palm Springs Valley, as they venture on foot to 6 locally-owned restaurants to taste culinary delights of all kinds. Between each tasting, guests will learn about the art, history and culture of the area and some unique facts about each of the restaurants. With so much happening on El Paseo, this tour offers an insiders’ take on the diverse culinary and cultural offerings of this fashionable boulevard and the surrounding area.

Desert Nature Hike

Cost:$150 per person

Experienced hiking guides lead your guests along marked trails in some of the desert’s most scenic areas. Guests will set off on a brisk walk through scenic trails in the Canyons of the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. In the Indian Canyons they will find breathtaking wilderness with a combination of chaotic rocky gorges, rough barren desert and groves of stately Washingtonian palm trees. Informative guides will share stories of Indian life and interesting facts about the desert flora and fauna.

The 18-hole Pete Dye Course at the Mission Hills Country Club features 6,955 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. This course is consistently described as “potentially diabolical, yet indescribably playable.”
